Brakes for a '75

Hi peeps! Always had later classic but now taken the plung and started restoration on a 2 door. Can anyone help with information about interchangeable parts between 2 and early 4 door. I am after a O/S/F brake caliper and rear bumper. I've asked the experts and they just say...... "I'll get back to you". Would be grateful for some info, hints or supplier links. Ta jimmymac D

presume you have tried all the big suppliers rimmers, craddocks etc

Try this guy (eBay UK Shop - Range Rover Recycled Parts: Discovery Part's 300TDI, Range Rover P38 HSE, Relay's Actuator's Switches) he was very helpfull when I neaded a gearbox oil cooler for my 89 classic if your part isnt listed he may have it in storage or know where you can get it from.

Hi, thanks for the info. Thanks Beast for the pic... though I think you're getting more of the snow than me. Forgot to mention I am on a budget set by Wife... beg, borrow or steal and I can't touch the Kid's College fund, so thanks for the offer Beast but I can't run to that much plus cost of pack horse from the badlands (used to be my stompin ground). Disco 1 calipers? Is that a straight swop or upgrade with fabrication?

If your on a budjet I would re-build the exsisting one. I am sure the earlier non abs ones have 4 pot twin line brakes don't they?

Hi Rewmer, problem is I don't have one! RR wouldn't start when I bought it so whinched on trailer and my tame mechanic (dumped it in his works yard) only realised half an hour into bleeding the brakes. I did get it very cheap and with a lot of work already done.. just no O/S/F caliper.. it's got lovely new brake lines, just nothing at the end! I have got spares which are surplus if anyone is interested, stalks, internal door handles, headlight surrounds etc.. etc.. Will list all when I get the chance.

Mate of mine still got some early 2 door stuff in his workshop will ask him tomorrow for you. Whats your location ?
