I needed new brake pads, calipers, and disks all around so I wanted to upgrade performance a little so I bought the vented terrafirma disks (link below). I fitted everything else and went for a test drive and hit the brakes at 10, 15, and 30 and felt like they were not as strong as before. Then looked at them after driving and it seems as though the vents on disks are cutting into the pads and there is a lot of black dust. Also it sounds like they might be rubbing a little...

So question is do I need special pads, I got the standard duralast ones from store over here in the states. The new calipers are the same as the disco ones, are those right because on the website I bought them from said they were defender ones...

how olds your truck 94 on use larger piston type like 110 calipers ,larger pistons give greater pressure ,the can take a few miles to ed in

it did have the larger 110 calipers but hey were shot so I had to replace. I would have thought I would have been supplied with the same 110 sized calipers if those were standard 90 ones too
