Just bought a replacement brake master cylinder (NRC9529).

1) There is a rubber seal between this and the servo, but I cant see it on the parts catalogue. What is the part number? The part above never came with the seal.

2) would my new master cylinder be 'plug in and play' or will I need to do anything to it first - prior to bleeding brakes etc.

Thanks

NRC9233?

Where did you find that number? All I can see is text for that which states 'servo to pedal box seal'. so I'm not sure if that's it or not. Its the break master to servo, rather than servo to pedal box. That said, I cant remember seeing a seal between the servo and the pedal box haha.

hmm, that's what I was expecting. But nothing there! I got it from Paddocks, so they are unlikely to help me if I ask the question over the phone.

I assume it should all be greased up and ready to go? No need to strip it down prior to install?

no oring over the cylinder and up against the flange, yes ready to fit as long as it has an o ring to seal the joint between servov and cylinder

Nope, no o-ring on the cylinder at all! I'll have a look again tonight and make sure its not hidden in the box or something.
Thanks

From here, that said it looks to be 10cm diameter sp probably not what you are after.
