:( Hi . My 300tdi ES Disco with ABS has failed its M.O.T on a brake problem and i'm after some ideas on the cause. The tester said that when the pedal is pressed down under heavy braking it continues to creep down therefore causing a poor braking reading. There is no fluid loose from the system. So i was wonder if the plunger in the master cylinder might of inverted or if anyone can think of another possible reason .

Fluid not leaking . . therefore it can only be either your Master Cylinder seals and/or caliper seals that are allowing fluid to bypass.

They need replacing.

All available from Paddock or MM 4x4 mail order (LR Dealer will be an arm & leg)

Hmm, I was sure Paddock and the like supply 'em, try talking to them, they might suggest a source, LR only buy them in from the likes of Girling, Lockheed etc !!
