it had 2 wheel bearing done today wife picked it up and said brakes bit odd i dove it and above is what i found. do you think that could of had something to do with it.

Sounds like when putting the pads back in they did not go in their original positions-and they now have to bed in again-If however when you put your foot on the brake,if the pedal keeps moving down,I would check your master cylinder ,as the seals may be letting by,if this is happening you will see no loss of fluid.

So you've just had the wheel bearings done and now the brakes are iffy. So whats been touched, they would have disturbed the calipers to do the brearings so check there, My first suggestion would be that they had the calipers off and have'nt blead them properly so try bleeding them. whilst doing this check for any sighns of damage to the brake pipes on the calipers and the flexi hoses to the calipers then start looking higher, sounds to me like air in the system hence the working not working thing. is worth checking the pads look seated in the calipers properly. thing is if its been to a garage `i would be inclined to take it back to them as it sounds like they have induced the problem. hope this helps neil

a wobbly bearing will push the caliper pistons back but that would make them better on the second press, as above take it back to the garage that did the work, dont spend anymore money with them tho unless you are certain they are not at fault.
