brake pedal low

hi all i recently had a brake pipe burst and my local garage fixed it,but i now find the brake pedal is down before the brakes work.i took it back and they had a half hearted go at bleeding but its still the same.anyone any ideas,i wont be using them again. thanks jim disco td5 03 reg.

Perhaps it needs a proper bleed. Air in the system is the most likely cause.

I swear by the Gunson Eeze bleed. It works off tyre pressure and less than £20. Make sure you use the correct bleed sequence. Fn/s Fo/s Rn/s then Ro/s

if it got air into the modulator then only power bleed with tester will do a perfect job imo

^^^ Sounds like you need a nanocom or similar plugged in and brake bleeding procedure followed. It's the only way to do it properly if air is in the system.

ive allways managed to fit modulators and bleed with just pumping pedal ,pipe and a jar
