Well it's my turn, front disks and pads new accumulator bleed brakes bought all the gubbins pin kit, disk screws . Calliper and carrier bolts printed off the bleeding scenario from rave so fingers crossed all set.
Also found out my air con belt idler is missing yes missing can't find any listing so I guess it's a second hand purchase??? In know you can buy the pulley but iv not seen any listings for the bracket/ carrier ??? Any clues or will it have to be second hand ??wish me luck. 1999 auto diesel

Good luck. Use the bottle jack for extra leverage on your bar when removing the 12 point bolts on the caliper carrier they are quite tight. on the other side you can step on the bar.

Sure you know but clean the hub face up best you can before the new discs go on, slightest bit of rust can lead to brake judder...from experience. Also as the discs are quite small in comparison to the vehicle weight make sure you give them a good bed in.

mole grips on any seized caliper pins pulling perpendicular to the carrier. Pack with plenty of cera-tec or similar assembly grease. Any numpty that drilled the carrier out before to push the pins out fill with a wooden dowel.

Have plenty of spare bleed nipples! make sure you use the correct sized imperial spanner on them. Can't remember off the top of my head.

no. best to remove the carrier completely as it will make removing any sliding pins easy to . Especially if you have a vice.

They will need de rusting and de caking to so the pads sits nicely. Also plenty of ceratec on the back of the pads and in the corners of the carrier.

My goodies have arrived, it's like Christmass

Even time left in the day for a cold beer, unless that started when the brake replacements did :)

No beers when I work not on brakes any way , yea all went well even chanced sliders but there was no need , has a panic moment couldn't get rears to bleed then relised hadn't turned ignition on Doh , I found the hardest thing was getting the bleed tube and spanner on rear boost bleed nipple well all done and my what a difference .
