Freelander 1 Brake drums

For albeit mainly cosmetic reasons I'm looking to replace the rear brake drums with new ones, are there any brands which are to be avoided and recommended? I've a 2004 FL1 TD4 Facelift if there are any specific fitments required.

The new ones will soon look shabby! I sent my new ones for external media blast and then powder coat on an epoxy based primer so that they stay rust free.

Avoid really cheap ones but nothing special required for a 2004.

I used Britpart drums and painted them in stove enamel paint. They still look ok 2 years on. The HB on my SE will lock the rear wheels with a mild pull of the lever.

get the whole kit and do your self a favour, you will then know everything should work fine once reassembled. Spray the drum before fitting with a couple of coats of high heat resistant stove paint.

I strip, clean, relube and adjust my rear drums before each MOT.
