has anyone changed there solid brake disc to vented on a l series fl and does it improve thing

just find mine a little slow there only a few months old put on by previous owner and seen there are vented disc out there

clearly i have a set of cheap and nasty brakes lol

i live near a great scrap yard hence me asking as i can prob get calipers for £15 for the pair if they have a freelander

might just investmeself in some good disc and pads the last owner has clearly skinped on lots of work well what i have come across so far anyway

would i also need to get the caliper carrier as i thought that would be different aswell

sup to you, of course ;)

that's what i'm gonna do when my disks have some more wear on them, i shan't be getting those drilled and slotted ones either as i'd never get the benfit from them cos i'm not a rally driver :crazy_driver:

Not sure what year you have - but mine came with vented discs, never had any solid ones to compare, but overall im happy with the way it brakes and stops.

are you sure the wheels i thought the early Freelander petrol's had vented disc..

not that im bothered will just fit spacers to the hubs

its something im thinking once i got the other big points sorted....

well thanks for the advice i no what i need when i get chance to go part hunting

the only thing i dnt like with my Freelander tho is no heated screen..but thats a summer job lol
