Opened up my range rover classic today as there was a horrible grating noise, pulled to one side when braking and a constant rumbling from the back.
I soon found out why when I took it apart
The back "pad" was loose in the caliper and getting dragged round the disc. No friction left at all and not much left of the metal plate!
On one side, the spring clip things that sit under the split pins had both disintegrated. I've had to put it back together with just the split pins.
Does anyone know where I can get any of these spring clips quickly? Is it going to be a paddocks jobbie, walk into land rover dealers for a few pence, or somewhere else?
Thanks in advance!
