hi,lad's hope sombody can help, recently got the abs amber light illuminated all the time,i think its the sensor,as i damaged it when i done balljoints removing swivel hub, ive got another sensor to put on,just not got round to it,the brakes where working fine until today, now i have the red warning light on with the amber, and i dont seem to have brakes i need to press really hard nearly to the floor for them to bite,iv'e looked for leak's dont seem to have any idea's,cheer's pat.

If the red lights on without the handbrake engaged it usually means you dont have sufficient system pressure - which also points to the reason your burying your foot in the floor to brake.

Possible fault with ABS booster and/or pump. Pump the brake when stationary with engine running , top up your brake fluid and pump again - repeat until you get your brake fluid levels right. If you still find your hitting the floor your pumps likely to have gone.
