Brake booster pump

Hi everyone

i have been having issues with the booster pump on my ABS, when I tap the pump it would start working again. I have now had the motor rebuilt, a new relay is on its way to me, but occasionally I am still having a problem with the pump not working.

I now think I have a problem with the pressure sensor at the side of the pump. My question is - can i get this separately? My local LR dealer took 5 minutes to not be able to find it, but I'm not convinced he was looking on the right screen for it.

Just wanted to share an information, if you are experiencing ABS problems due to the pressure switch failing, do not pay a fortune for a new pump or a switch. I have changed mine with "ACDelco 25530882 Brake Pressure Wiring Switch" and it works fine with P38 ABS pump. It is plug&play, and bought for $80 from amazon. It is exactly the same part, no need for any modifications.

New switch ordered by googling the part number.

Arrived, fitted, ABS fixed.

P38 back on the road, the wife wants me to sell it
