brake accumalator !!!!!

Hi i have been resurecting my lse changed engine 2+ years ago
now the brake accumalator is not pumping up . I have voltage to it
can i dismantle and try to repaire it myself . not sure what any problems
may be just stuck maybe .anywon else tried to repaire !!
or am i wasting my time :rolleyes:
 
I think you may be slightly confused here. You can't repair a brake accumulator and it is not connected to anything electrical.

If you mean the hydraulic pump and/or pressure switch then that is a bit different. If the pump is not running then it may be you need a new pressure switch. Personally I don't think it is wise to "repair" the pressure switch or pump as they are safety critical. IIRC there is a thread that deals with testing the pressure switch so you might want to do a search. AFAIK the pump/pressure switch arrangement between Classic and P38 is pretty much identical so I am sure you can find info by doing a search.

Remember the brake system operates at very high pressures and if you aren't careful you will get hurt!
