ps: Its a Range Rover - Jeeps are a cheap comparatively reliable American SUV for those who can't afford a Range Rover or put up with the unreliability....please don't cheapen the Range Rover brand - the Evoque is doing that well enough on its own..!!![]()

Jeeps are a more reliable version of a RangeRover![]()
A P38 is not a car, it's a hobby, bit like a mistress really, all the cost but without the satisfaction![]()
Range Rovers are totally reliable. It's just that some people insist on driving them. That causes all sorts of problems.![]()

I know Jeeps are in general more reliable than Rangies, but my P38 is a model of reliability compared to a friend's Jeep GC - which has done fewer miles. It has been a sorry tale of breakdowns and woe since the day he bought it three years ago. I'm fed up with saying "should have bought a Range Rover" to wind him up! The early ribs of "have you got your AA card?" when I first bought my P38 are long-forgotten.
