Anyone got any tips on how to get them out without removing the whole hub to the press?
Battered them for a while but zero movement!

What size socket is the driveshaft nut? It's a weird star shaped nut.

Got one of the buggers out.
I'll have to make a temporary repair to the cv boot until I have more time to replace it.

LR I believe have a slide hammer type extractor.

When I did mine I used a combination of slim chisels and a large punch and sledge hammer on the top, taking care around the CV boot of course.;)

One side finished, just need to find a socket to fit the drive shaft nut so I can take the hub off to do the other side. I'll also get some new cv gaitors and might do wheel bearings whilst it's in bits. It'll have to wait a week or two though now.
