Boot release button.

Been having trouble opening the boot off and on, last time it was corrosion in the connector, this time it was a knackered button mechanism.
There are 2 switches, LR in their wisdom only actuate one, the metal actuator pushes on a little black plastic pin which operates the microswitch. The top of the plastic pin had worn away so that the switch didn't reliably operate.
Got the switch out of the spares dog and, fitted it and it works fine. another job done.
Need to look for a better quality push button that will fit the hole in the tailgate.

Something else to look forward to!
