Hi all whats the best way to fit bonnet pins i.e like the ones on the camel discovery 1

slam bonnet down.

When I did mine I cocked up a bit and found the ones I got were too short for where I wanted to put them. I ended up putting them on each corner. I drilled and bolted the pin in and dropped the bonnet on it to give me a mark and drilled up.

That's how I fitted them to mine . Piece of cake.

Yep look ok mate - but was thinking of getting alloy anodised ones as they shouldn't rust to bits in a week

I would just go with the rubber strap thingys for a fender. Not shore where you'd mount prop pins to one.
