I have the kit fitted (not by me) to fit the spare on the bonnet, but I must be missing some bits....

I have 4 rubber mounts, 1 centre post with a hole in, and 2 uprights. one with a nut on, one with bolt in.

I can't see how this will secure the wheel to the bonnet! Help! What am I missing?

cheers - it looks like this pic - not my landy tho!

Ok cool yes you are missing the spare wheel retaining ring, probably available from ebay or paddocks of somewhere.

Looks like the attached photo.

Basically you put you spare on the bonnet face up over the 3 sticking up things, then the retaining ring goes circular side up over them and you use the boots to secure it and it clamps down on the area of the wheel where the wheelbolts sit and it clamps it to the bonnet.

The middle post is for a padlock if you want.

The bolts for the retaining ring are available aswell if you don't have those

Thanks so much for that - if I can get one of those, I can see if the new wheels fit! Then we can go camping!

Thanks again :)
