Morning boys and girls.
My 2007 FL2 finely decided it was warm enough to start yesterday.
Problem now is i cannot lock it because it claims the bonnet is open when its clearly locked down properly,
anyone know how to cure this or bypass whatever decides when the bonnet is open or closed.

Common problem.
The switch in the bonnet latch has gone open circuit.
The temporary remedy is to remove the plug from the switch and link the 2 contacts with a small loop of wire or paperclip. Make sure you wrap tape around it so it can't short to the body, but this fools the CJB into seeing the bonnet is locked down.
It's only a temporary fix, but it often becomes permanent once forgotten.

I will give that a try and im sure it will become a permanent feature of the car, looks like the catches have been drowned in oil in the past, thats probably not helping.
Thanks for the help.
