G'day - I'm trying to decide on the bonnet for my 1977 RRC which has a few mods by previous owner, like a Holley Carb and moulded fibreglass flares to fit some 15x8s, etc etc but other than that pretty standard. I have a set of standard guards to put on it too, but anyway...
Do I -
(A)take the pristine bonnet off my Gold 1984 four door and compromise it a bit (and have no holes for original lettering)
(B)use a rust-repaired period bonnet with the correct holes for the lettering but not in perfect shape
(C)purchase an aftermarket fibreglass bonnet from a builder here in Queensland for $1,100.00?
It would be a real shame to compromise the Gold 4 door as it is in real nice condition as far as the body goes. Decisions, decisions... What's your vote?
