There were definitely 4 rivets where 4 bolts should have been according to my Haynes manual.
It's all done now.
I may get a replacement undertray, although I have no plans for any serious off road driving.
have to check oil level later and that is that for 3000 miles.

I was under the impression that it was wise to change oil and filter every 3000 miles on a diesel engine????
Is that overkill?

Next time something needs doing to that vehicle ,hand it into a mechanic . He should have a good set of spanners and a hammer .Tomorrow I will be changing the oil, oil filter and air filter on my 2006 TD4 Freelander.
Can anyone tell me the size of the bolts on the engine undertray?
I want to make sure I have everything at hand before starting the job.
