hi just spent a very frustrating day sorting me balls, putting it all back together and have a problem as when i do up the stub axle flange the drive shaft goes tight and wont turn, got landrover parts manual every thing in right order is it another case of ****part as it came as kit from paddocks

How tight are the wheel bearings?

I did this job on my LR the other day, but i left the drive flange and bearings all alone, ill post a guide if its gonna be any use.

Check the drive flange is in line and aint trying to bent the CV in a funny way or summat

not got as far as putting hub back so bearings not issue seems like the shaft is being clamped tight as difficult to swivel the hub as well wondering if its prob with ****part black ball

the stub axle onto the swivel pin housing ie ball fixed to axle swivel housing onto ball slide shaft in ok bolt on stubaxle with mudshield all goes tight

ffs just read other manual i got landrover workshop manual hadnt seated drive member in bush in flange properly all sorted ta:
