Hi nuts,

I have just done a 2" lift on mine. For an inch lift you will be fine with all pipes and cables. The radiator brackets at the top will need lowering. For this simply unbolt them, single bolt to slam panel each side, and then drill a new hole. There is enough room to do this and it is free to do than buy the pins.

Before you lift you need to make sure you can undo the seat belt fixings to the chassis. Two under the boot floor mid distance, this is where the lap belts etc bolt to. Then there are the two below the rear of the centre console.

With a two inch lift I have had to replace these with longer items (£25) although there maybe enough thread on the original items to get away with it. PLEASE CHECK TO MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU LIFT OTHERWISE THE SEATBELTS WON'T BE SAFE.

Gear levers will be fine and so will the steering. All in all it took me three hours on my own but I spent half an hour before I realised the seat belt mounts hadn't been undone.

Good luck
