Bluetooth issue L322 2009 MY Vogue SE

I've just acquired a 2009 MY - first registered March 2010 - L322 Vigue SE. The vehicle is equipped with Bluetooth but when I open the Bluetooth facility on my iPhone 6S Plus it fails to detect the car at all. I've tried several times in each case with the engine running. All advice suggestions gratefully received!

Sorry to piggyback on your thread @Corlea (but as it was similar I didn't want to start a new thread!!) but my 2007 L322 allows me to connect to the Bluetooth and works but every time I use it i have to re enter the pin to get my phone to work? Surely there must be a way that the Bluetooth remembers my phone? Any help on this problem too would be great!

I think this is a problem with old bluetooth head unit vs new bluetooth phone. Standards have moved on and your head unit hasn't.

You should have the Nokia Bluetooth unit there are upgraded versions available
