Blue smoke Helpppppp

Today i started my disco from cold and when i started to pull away at around 1300 revs i noticed a masssssssive plome of blue smoke mixed with white smoke bellowing out of my exhaust pipe , When i took my foot off the accelorator it goes back to normal , when i drive it the smoke seems to go . but when i stop at keep the revs around 1300 revs it starts smoking and the engining is almost gargling ! not being a car mechanic i was wondering if anyone has come across before ??? could this be a lift pump ???

id check turbo pipes arent collapsing on inlet side or split on pressure side ,and turbo by removing outlet from it and seeing what oil comes out as you rev it ,check breather pipe from cylcone to intake see if its passing oil,check to see if it blows out of filler cap when removed,check or try some more injectors ,ensure egr valve isnt stuck open

it's not too complicated if you take your time, if you do a search on the forum there is a lot of information on how to do. if you have a haynes manual. (yeh i know but it's better than nothing ) and you follow james suggestions most of it is quite easy. (honest) good luck with it and do let us know how you get on. ron.

ok ill check my manual over the weekend :crazy:

take the breather cap off the rocker cover when it is running and see if it is chuffing from there, if it is would probably be head gasket. If not check all that james said !

Hi guys just to let u know I may of solved the problem , i changed the injectors I will give a good run tomorrow but looking promising so far ! Cheers for all your help .
