hi, the 10amp fuse for the rear electric windows blows out occasionally. I am talking about the the fuse which goes inside the relay (?) in the fuse box inside the cabin. I think that it mostly blows if I try to put up or down both windows simultaneously. Not sure if related but the switches at the rear doors also do not work (the disabling switch is not on). any idea where to start?

Hi. Which fuse are you talking about? for the rear windows the fuse is F13 and it's supposed to be 30A so in the F13 slot you have a 10A fuse it's quite normal to blow on both motor's load.... also the isolator switch must be pushed in for the door switches to work, if it's lathced out the door switches are disabled

looking at photos on the internet, it seems I have something a bit 'different'. R3 in my case has a 10amp fuse in it...

I dont know what you mean, what ''fuse in it"?.... there's not supposed to be any fuse IN the window lift relay relay, p/n YWB10012... somebody put the wrong relay there if it's that type with a fuse, that circuit has more than 10A load with both motors on .... i'm looking to the official diagrams not on the internet

yes, i am convinced someone put the wrong relay there then... will look for that relay, and will see how it goes. thanks!

as it turns out the fused relay was the issue. replaced with 'standard' relay and all is good...
