As per title, anyone done the swap?

I had it all apart about 5yrs ago, as the original blower was blowing fuses every time it was switched on, tried a brand new one and only thing available was a Britpart jobby which had to be mullered to get the resistor pack that was spot welded off it and even then it was 3.5mm to small a diameter to fit snuggly and after a couple of attempts to center it with wedges and gluing it in with epoxy and failing miserably I fitted a decent second hand one with minimal wear on the bushes the time has come to do it all over again, it's starting to stick a little and squeaking :(

I read a thread somewhere (admittedly it is 5yrs ago and I was reading hundreds of threads on various vehicles and forums looking for tips and ideas), where a guy had replaced the bushings with bearings, I could just rip it all apart and get busy but I thought I'd see if anyone still around on here has done it?

Will have to see, I am planning to fit a length of 6mm air hose as mod to enable me to drip feed some oil down to the bearings periodically, I already have some ball bearings that were spares for my nitro buggy hubs, will pull out the dash in the new year after I've finished the new shocks and interior on the 206.
