Blower issues l322 2002 td6

hi all been scouring these forums for a couple of weeks had a battery drain for a while and the blower not working so changed the fsr which everybody seems to point too didnt stop the drain nor fix the blower anyway the drain was coming from aftermarket head unit,sorted that but still no blower it came on today on its own for about 20 secs smelled like rotten eggs then it went off again and electrical smoke filled the car ended up disconnecting battery and pulling fuses HELP

Have you upset a neighbour?

Probably would have if i didnt disconnect the battery in time another few mins and the whole lot was going up
