Hi all. Got the dreaded book symbol on the HEVAC. Plugged in the Nano and my left hand blend motor is stuck at 82%. I'm going to just replace this one as it's not to bad a job on left. What I need to know is do I need a specific left hand BM or can I use a right one. I'll cut the wires and solder them back together so that's not an issue. If I need a specific left one I understand it's colour coded. I've not stripped mine out so can't see colour required. What colour is the NS one.

Cheers all

All the same from 95-02,just make sure the flap is free to move. Its normally the distribution flap thats stiff, but recently I had one in that all the flaps were tight....
Why bother soldering etc,its no big deal to back the pins out of the multiplug and push the new ones in.Its nice for the next tech,(will there be another one.....) to find it all as the factory threw it together !

I thought the plug is hidden behind the HEVAC panel and requires the stereo to removed also. So I was going to save myself sometime by not removing them.

Not sure you'll save any time to do it. The left hand one is easier (did just that on mine in about 30mins or so), but burger all space in there. At least if you've got the stereo and HEVAC out, you've got some space at the front, and less hassle swapping in and out of the multiplug than soldering.

All fixed. Even managed to do it without cutting the ducting. Cleared the fault codes and it now goes from cold to hot and back again. Did the flap calibration. For some reason the best I could get was from 0 (cold) to 106% (hot) but it seems to work ok. So once again I bow down to you gurus and offer you my sincerest thanks............. no I won't be handing any reach arounds
