the passenger side is stuck on cold all the time apparently the motor stalled on re-callibration. me being a tight arse was wondering if i could pull out the blend motor and just jam the thing so its blowing warm all the time?

Pretty sure if you take the Blend motor of the heater unit then make up some form of fixing so the temp mix flap doesn't move it can be done....even if it is some simple jammed in the gearing, might work...you won't know till you get it off and take a gander.....

From what I understand the passenger side blend motor is by far the easiest to do - I hope so coz mine has just packed up!

well i finally got round to bodging my blend motor today, easy enough to get to, took off the blend motor and just moved the flap opposite to where it was and voila! warm air!! i used a small cable tie to hold the flap in this position and tied the blend motor out of the way. hardest part was working out that the airbag fault was caused by me not connecting the airbag plug.... taught myself a few new swear words too!
