Bits for my defender

hello guys I have a defender 110 double can pickup and am looking to put a lot of mods on in 1 go while in Europe I called into a landrover garage and got the booklet at the moment my landrover is standard I whuld like to add

Winch
bash plate
Snorkel
bumper
Roof rack
Front and rear light cages
Seat covers
Rear seat storage
Locking box for the middle
Black Bonnet checker step plates
Black Checker plates on the back wing
I marked all these down in the book and my freind was flying home to uk he took the book and went into landrover today and asked them to price up the list I had a idear in my head that it whuld be about £3000 or ther abouts how wrong was I lol landrover said £6000 I almost choked on my tea when he told me So seing as I am new to this is this normal to go into the main dealer for your upgrades or is ther other places in the uk were I can buy all the parts needed for less money I don't want to spend 6g if I don't have to lol and I no main dealers don't mind over charging from past dealings any info thoughts or advice whuld be greatly appreciated on this matter

Thanks for reply mate I've had a look on google but I dident no were to look I tried eBay lol with me being a bit of a noob to modding a car and making a big order I dident want to get the wrong stuff and to be honest it was a bit bewildering lol was abit worried about buying wrong parts or parts what weren't up to scratch ie made in Taiwan I will check that site out now mate thanks for that am I right in thinking the main dealership will be way over priced and shopping else were will save me a few pound ?

I'm a Newbie but have managed to sling on a few bits and I shopped around using these guys below. Don't forget to play a little with the engine, maybe a boost pin?
Timber Traill 4x4, MUD, Bolt on Bits,TMD,Nene Overland,First Four. All my favourites and you'll come in way under £3000 let a lone 6! Roof racks are very pricey as you've probably noticed. Try getting 4 Mantec roof bars instead, for example. Lots of alternatives! All the best Mate.

it's unusual to go to the dealer for 'mods' as they rob you blind. is this your first car? as any normal garage can do it.. or you can go to a place that specialises.. or do it yourself

aaaand there are many types for each mod you have picked.

There's a fully galvanised roof rack which will fit a 110 on Gumtree at the mo but it's in Norwich. It's only £150. I was going to buy it but I don't really need it lol. It was still available tonight.
