Afternoon all, I have a slight problem with my 1995 n reg disco 1, wen I operate the door handle t open the vehicle from the outside the door pin inside drops slightly and the door will not open, I have t put the key in the lock and turn it all the way to the unlock position and keep it there and open it, I've heard this is a common fault, is this true and whats the best fix .... Any info is much appreciated cheers

I had the exact same problem, do you use ebay ?? if so, type this in for the springs you need.. LANDROVER DISCOVERY / RANGE ROVER CLASSIC DOOR LOCK REPAIR SPRING - 4 DOOR SET.

Oh and p.s. they can be tricky little buggers to do, they are in your actual lock mechanism.. All the best.
