ooh err, missus

When selecting gears (she's an auto) it's quite stiff to move the lever back or forward.

Not sure if the cable is sticky or perhaps where it's attached to the lever/box or could it be rust on one of the brackets?

The gears all select fine, no issues whatsoever, just a bit stiff.

Any tips to help with my problem :D

Check the cable and gear stick itself. There is not a lot to seize anywhere else.

Mmmm, Cheryl Cole (or whatever her name is this week) is a bit secksey :p

Anyway, I'll put my cash on the bit where the lever pivots on...

Remember the fob/key stupidity that it punched me in the nuts with?

It was a simple case of twist to unlock, press unlock and vice versa....or versa vice, I forget. Anyway, all working again, and with a brand new Oldham battery under the bonnet ;)

So, simply have to get the airbags done and fit the A/C condenser (previous owner said "it goes better without the A/C! "NO IT FUNKING DOES'NT!!!!!") and a few other bits & bobs like black underseal and so on to make it better. That and new headlamps to bring it into 21st century
