Hi all just phoned a company for bio diesel £1.09 per ltr rip off or what i thought that bio is supposed to be cheeper asda diesel £1.13 per ltr by me no point changing rip off or what.

it is considering you can make the stuff for arould 30p a litre yourself, up to 2500 litres per year!!!
i think you can build or pick up a kit fairly cheap to, your only obstacle is getting the FREE used oil, if you can get enough to fulfil your requirements then just use the simple filter and thin method. all you need is two tanks, one above the other with a filter or two inbetween, using a coarse filter to remove the larger particles will preserve the life of a much finer filter and give better results. add 3% non kerosene based white spirit and your motoring so to speak. make sure your bottom vessel is larger than the top one or you'll get a garage full of chip fat!!!
i'm thinking of buying a cheap deisel car to test and run on the stuff, especially over the winter to get the proportions right for harsh conditions!!
