bigger landy

Hi all
Im in need of a bigger landrover iv got a 3door freelander :lol:at the mo. How much more usable space would i have in a disco than a freelander.
I need something big enuf to chuck in 2 dogs 3kids and the missis.

looks like its gona be a disco then. Anything i should look for when lookin at one . i know about the rust probs and making sure all the 4x4 works as it should.

history discos need a lot of lovin mine gets more attension than the wife

you can put the freelander in the disco. i was suprised how much rooms in the back of one.

discoveries take some looking after as already mentioned great cars though, the bigest problem is rust boot floor, inner wings, rear wheel arches and sills are the most prone, also rear crossmember where the body mounts are can also rust, look for the best you can afford and take someone with you if you are unsure lots of other usefull posts will come your way from members who know thier stuff better than me, good luck and hope you find a good one,, ron.

i cant i want to keep it or trade it in

take your time in sourceing the right one there are some good ones still out there but saying that there are some dogs out there aswell dont be afraid to hit the cills with a small hammer same as inner wings for boot floor just lift the carpet , if its got a service book/history spend your time and go through it all , dont worry to much about high millage if the history tells a story of regularly serviced and cambelt changes should be ok ..... like already mentioned its the rust that kills them

sounds like its a good job i dont mind gettin the tool box and the welder out and using it then. So if i just look for major tin worm and make sure all the drive works ok then.

and dont buy the Mpi version
