Thanks for the sympathy vote. My only ignorance was reading a great big sign that said I could unload for 20mins, becoz a fork lift doesn't come along and empty me van of its contents, some numpty thinks I'm taking the ****.

I've asked to see all evidence prooving I was there over 5 mins, the reply should be interesting.

Martin Lewis was on BBC Radio 2 toady with Jeremy Vine covering parking tickets and how to appeal.

He said the first appeal was rejected auto by the Council.

He also said that the last stage of the appeal was independent and that 70% of appeals were successful!

In Lehman’s terms, the local Government are corrupt to gain revenue.

Collecting and delivering (small items) which is why I was only 2 mins.
Unfortunately my 24/7 personnal cameraman was on holiday that week so they have to proove my guilt rather than me proove my inocence, which I thought was the way it was supposed to happen anyway

Finally got a result on this 1. Asked TFL to either e-mail or send me the CCTV footage of my so called parking violation. After nearly 4 weeks, I received a reply today telling me that I HAD broken their rules, but as a 'GESTURE OF GOODWILL' they would not be taking this matter any further. No CCTV footage received by the way. What a load of S##t. More like a 'Trying to raise more taxes by deception, but we didn't get away with it' kind of gesture. What is this country comming to!!

Not personally, because as everyone knows politicians are there to do as they're told by big business and civil servants. But certainly it is the governments fault because they allowed London to become a private state within the uk. A bit like the Vatican but with a mayor instead of a pope.


And whilst I've heard the "well we voted / didn't vote for X,Y & Z." arguement countless times. The reality is that regardles of who is voted in they have no interest in the well being or good health of the average man/woman.

As has been stated TFL is headed by the mayor, good old Boris who bats for the blue side.

And I know this is a Land Rover forum, but I will add my 2 bobs worth.

Left school in the 70's and there by the grace of god, never been out of worth since.
70's to early 80's, just me and the tackle to look after GOOD TIMES

Rest of the 80's, 3 young kids HARD TIMES

90's, 3 teenagers HARDER TIMES

00's, kids flown the nest,just me and the missus to feed, mortgage comming to an end. THE HARDEST TIMES OF ALL!!

Now that I do blame on Mr Brown, although his mate Tony must take some of the blame.

you've only got yourself to blame for living beyond your means

yu see I blame mortgages for this countries problems if we all paid rent the country wouldn't be upto it's neck and sinking fast under a mountain of credit. Their isn't another country in Europe that has the level of home ownership that we have. And after 25 years of paying ya mortgage yu have 2 possible scenarios,

The value of the property is so low that it isn't worth selling or if yu did sell all the dosh yu got would go into buying a new place.

or yu become old and senile and the government takes your house to pay for ya carehome.

I find that if i live beyond my means i can get more credit cards.......

Bit strange really.I could walk in a bank tomorrow and arrange £250k for my bank account by monday.alll credit but i could....

:5biagree:Ive got nearly 10 large availible to me on me credit cards alone.The most i ever put on em was 800 notes every time i paid em off they went up!

Geezus if i added 10 cards i reckon i could do £350k,.....

Bit of a long shot - If you can go back to the site see if there are any other cameras pointing to where you stopped you might find other footage? what about the people you delivered too any luck they will give evidence (written). Definately demand copy of footage - good luck.
