Bic pen in heater duct.

Bizarre one! I lost a bit pen down my windscreen heater duct. Its gone right down and is rattling about. It is VERY annoying as it wasn't even MY pen. I've tried ignoring it

Is there an easy way to get into/at the duct? Defender 110 csw.

Ive done that myself, screws, nuts, nolts even a paintbrush. If your lucky you ahould be able to get it out buy just undoing the two screws at the top (dont drpp them in too!) And get it out, any chance the pen had an metal on it? Could fish it out with one of them magnetic sticks.

I put some mesh in mine, stop it happening...

Cheers, sadly I saw 2 sticking out the duct when I had the dash and vent off to do the wiper wheel boxes. As I got one the other slipped right down so its into the very bottom of the system.

Right pain in the tits if you will.

You can hear a pen rattling round in the dash over all the other noises in a tratter?!
