Best shocks / springs

04 DISCO 2- What standard height shocks and springs would you recommend for TARMAC, ROUGH TRACK and occaisional towing. Like the idea of upgrading to gas shocks but which ones? Terra and Monroe seem ok on paper. Any advice on this please?

I think you will find your disco 2 has air suspension and although changing these to springs and dampers is an option i think you will find that there is no way the disco will then be insured as the car was never made with springs dampers obviously you have the option to convert but you would certainly be wise to contact your insurance company before converting as you would be making your insurance void,do a search there is plenty info on the subject.............

It's the basic Pursuit model with standard dampers and springs. seven years old so not behaving as good as it was. Lower bushes gone on front shocks so thought I would renew the lot. Just want to get spec right with new shocks and springs.???????????????????????????????????????????????

i would fit new set of std genuine springs and ive had good results with bearmach tuffback and terra gas shocks
