Need some new tyres but finding it a mine field

what tyres are best for me v8 disco?
been looking at bfg grabbers and scorpion whats best for road use and wear?

The Pirelli Scorpians are brilliant on road - but they cost.

I've got a pair of barely used ones - unfortunately they're 205/80s so you probably wouldn't want them........

I had these before I switched to Goodyear Wrangler AT/S

I got these on me td5 disco
GENERAL TYRES / 4X4 / GENERAL GRABBER UHP - 255/55R18 109W XL TL :: £91.80 :: 4x4 Tyres - SUV Tyres - All Terrain Tyres - Off Road Tyres :: R18" - 255/55/18, 255/55 R 18 ::

and they are great plenty of grip in the wet no road noise, not bad for mild pulling caravan on wet muddy fields, only had um five months (6000 miles) and still look new.

had good reports about camskill, they delivered next day and it cost me £10 a wheel to have um put on.My rims are 18 inch though.

i use kumho road venture KL78 s as me road tyres , £55 each , last about 20,000 miles and not too shabby in the snow or on a wet field either , only used em cause they were on the car when i bought it , but just ordered new set of five now as i am well pleased with em .

I had UHPs on mine. No complaints. Shame I did not know you were looking for some as I just sold them for £80

I just put BFG ATs on the Navara double cab. Transformed the ride and handling. Not cheap but my ex-boss got 50k+ out of a set and he had just put a second set (ever) on his LWB Frontera.

Yes I know I swore twice in that reply, but it was worth saying :)

Pirelli Scorpions on our D2 V8, 255/65 R16 on 8J rims.

We rarely go anywhere that would need a lot more grip, so they are fine for our needs, and apparently the Michelins with the blocky tread are also highly rated as well.

I've got BFG AT's on one TDi, General AT²'s on the other and General UHP's on my TD5.

ALL very good. The AT's are surprisingly good off-road. The UHP's have remarkable levels of grip on-road, almost unbelieveable for a vehicle of this weight. They are surprisingly good green laning as well.
