Up **** creek.
Im thinkin of upgrading my existing bulbs to get more light especially when reversing, I dont want to stick a work light on her. I was just wondering what direct replacement road legal bulbs would anyone suggest? Im thinking mainly of changing my front headlights/sidelights, front fogs and reverse lights.

Ive seen this on ebay:eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace does anyone know if they are any good and worth the money?

Cheers:)

They should be fine for reverse but not for fronts, you'll need real bulbs for them. I use the 100% brighter ring ones and they work nicely until I hit the fullbeam and light up the surrounding area with the spotlights

Same here, I had to change mine as I couldn't see where the heck i was going, as the previous owner had fitted bulbs with a very strong blue tint, I would not recommend blue-tinted bulbs! I did start to look into HID kits but with all the faff regarding the new mot regulations (see relevent thread on this forum), I followed the advice given by users on this forum, and decided to scrap that idea and went for standard bulbs, needless to say I'm happy now I can actually see the road :)

You're paying for the canbus override! Unless your disco has a bulb out indicator then you can go for the cheaper alternative without it.

I get flashed by other road users for having them in……..then I flash the roof lights and that stops the bastards :D
got some people like that round here with exesivly bright dip beam , they get hacked of when i stop in middle of lane cos i can see jack **** (dazzled) , and they cant get by !

They're no brighter than our slitty's, its just the slight blue tint the 100% bulbs have. They don't throw blue light but light up the headlight units with a little bit of blue for some reason.

Its actually mercs n beemers most of the time that flash, the normal cars don't bother so much

Hmmmm I do have the adjustment thing set as down too so that might explain a bit, not arsed tbh…….they can suck it and it they wanna play smart I'll light them up like the 4th of July :D
