Hi guys,

My auto box cooling radiator has a leak and needs to be replaced.

Anyone know of a good place to buy one?

It's for a p38 2.5 diesel

Cheers guys

You might want to consider getting the pipes whilst you're at it. The pipes into the cooler connections are a notorious problem area.

Thanks guys, Island not a bad price and will look at emmotts!

Thanks for the heads up on the pipes, the RR loves to take out other parts as you repair! Hopefully a few days of plus gas will help!

The pipes are a different metal to the cooler, so the threads corrode, so I'm not sure if plusgas will help :/

Ok thanks guys, another super RR design :) can't get angry with it today however as I have finally made it drive in a straight line! Only needed radius arm bushes, new track and drag links and a steering damper but I think I have done it!!

Since it looks like new pipes are in order is it worth switching to the v8 style cooler so I could fit fog lights?

No, the fog lights are useless.

Ha ha, I don't even like the look of them that much if I'm honest!

Right oh, well will keep an eye out for a good deal of used part with pipe still attached. Doesn't leak a lot so I have a bit of time

Cheers

I thought that the V8s had the cooler as part of the rad so that's not a sensible alternative. You could just fit a fog light in front of the cooler as long as you're not towing, climbing mountains or crossing deserts as the cooler does very little during normal driving but, as Data says, the basic fogs are useless.
However if you're determined then you could mount the cooler somewhere around the EAS drier, there's a bit of space.

Thank for the info, was more just a thought but I will keep it in mind.

I guess the standard cooler does a good job as it is :)

Big thanks to everyone for the help
