Have CWS just up the road, the break all LR's and can supply new bits aswell. They quoted me on full brake pipe set front and rear £95 - Then spoke to Yeovil Landrover who said they can't supply the front pipes as over yrs old and obsolete lolLR direct are pretty ggod,a nd you get to choose the manufacturer / brand name.
I assume the do stuff on the posher motors from LR.
Having said that , It is always nice t support your local independant LR specialist if you have one, sometimes their costs are not too bad.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that they are talking bollox!!!
My Discovery is from 1992 and I used to be a frequent visitor to the Land Rover main dealer for genuine parts and they still carry parts for a 1992 200Tdi engine, switches, relays, some small interior parts too, just depends on whether they can be bothered to help you or not.
Well, with so many choices of places to buy parts, it's unlikely I'll be darkening their doors lol
especially as everyone uses the same 3 wholesalers and lr,some parts are obsolete but that goes for every retailer unless they have old stock on the shelfI can tell you with 100% certainty that they are talking bollox!!!

So who is your current "preferred" supplier Neilly?Yep have used them as well,
I tend to use quite a few, But If I find one that has good service when I phone up and ask a few questions then I tend to go back if they sell what I want.
