Ok so who does everyone swear by? Fair prices, knowledgeable, prompt delivery (too much to ask??)

Cheers!

I try Paddocks Spares and John Craddocks Ltd first. If its an expensive item, then normally do a Google search and have a butcher's hook on eBay too.

Is craddocks bad? Was tempted in ordering some bits but maybe not.lol

Just hiddiously expensive.

They are great for random rare second hand parts - we've had bits and bobs for the Series 1 from there before, but, for new stuff they seem really over priced.

What are you after?

If its overpriced, or appears to be, compare the prices and order from someone cheaper. I've found them much of a muchness; sometimes Paddocks are £1-2 cheaper, sometimes John Craddocks. Once you factor in the postage, it doesn't work out to do a part-order from both either. One of them does free postage over £50 I think, but can't remember which.

thing about Craddocks is they've been in this game since the Wilks brothers were lads, I used them a lot when I lived nearby and there staff are really helpful - but since moving I've discovered their really bloody awful website and moved to famous four and or Paddocks for no other reason than ease of use.

paddocks are perfect if you want ****e quality and half of it to turn up.....oh and they're customer service is second to everyone

Never had a problem with them myself, recently bought 5 wheels+tyres from them, turned up within 48hrs and they even threw in a set of locking wheel nuts for free! Not only that, I lost the key to the nuts, shot off an e-mail to Paddocks and they sent me another one, again free of charge.

Me neither. I've never had a mis-order from either.

The only problems Ive had with Paddocks are, 1. They dint send me some bits I had ordered even though I had filled the order out online and rung them twice to confirm they had the bits. Only small bits but they were the ones we were desperatye for. They never even rang me to say the bits wernt coming or I would have got them somewhere else. 2. Their Paints ****e.

get all my bits from Britishparts.co.uk service is good, quick, good aftersales Prices Resonable if they ain't got it in they will try there best
