Finally got the series 3 back together and looking for insurance. Been with Adrian Flux for years with other Landrovers but what other companies out there would know what I was talking about if I contacted them.
Not expecting to pay more than £150 limited mileage and about 4k value.
I'm guessing nobody else can use the search function at the moment either.....

I’m with flux direct for for my series and with admiral on a classic policy for the 110. Both have an agreed valuation which I think is the key. They don’t need to understand what a Land Rover is (call centre girl at admiral was confused and in the end described it as a van) as long as they agree to the valuation you put on it.

Seconded, agreed value is the absolute must. I've recently had an agreed value claim on anotehr vehicle and it made a huge difference. The vehcile had repairs to the tune of £2500 when it would otherwise had been writen off at £1500 total. I hae been insuded with Peter Best, Adrian Flux and Lancaster over the years and all d what they say. There are differences in mileage requirements, excesses etc so it pays to shop around, especially if you park on the road as I do as not all offer this cover. At the moment I find the Lancaster agreed Value system easy to use - its all online, you up-load a desription and pictures and they use an independent assessor.

Used A/F and Lancaster in the past...just kept hiking to price every year...I just search on-line now and go for the cheapest on the comparison sites...I use more than one....usually around £60.

I get the cheapest on line quote then phone Lancaster or flux and they usually undercut it.

sometimes it seems to depend who picks up the phone and how keen they are to do a deal, the long in the tooth ones seem to have more sway with the underwriters

the ones who sound like yours is the first call they have ever taken can be a bit tedious :D
