Hi - Anyone had experience of the Hawkeye and or Blackbox Solutions diagnostic testers - which is the best ease of use etc, constructive comments appreciated; Thanks

i use hawkeye and find it useful but it is how you use it ,alot of faults are found when read as low battery voltage ,creates illusion to ecu that somethings wrong ,read faults ,clear faults ,test drive ,read faults again, use live data ,then use common sense ,wheel brearings can make wheel sensor fault ,seized wastegate on turbo can give air pressure reading faults etc, never used other kit but hawkeye as done most things ive needed i would recommend anyone keeping vehicle a few years to get one

Thanks for that, the nanocom is not available for my 90 as it runs the GEMS V8 management system so only the Faultmate MSV-2 Nano seems to apply to it, the exteme version has a few extra functions which do not apply to my 90 so is not worth the extra cash unlesss I upgrade.

Excuse my ignorance/laziness, went further into this forum and found most of the info I required; Will now save my pennies and get the MSV-2 Extreme as it offers the best in most of the forum replies.
