If you're changing becoz you don't like the colour as opposed to giving tired paint work a new lease of life go ahead, but to repaint the same colour is much cheaper and easier. To do a proper colour change job involves loads of work and it would probably be easier to sell up and replace with a nice one in the colour you want.
For what its worth I have a P38 and Classic both in black and think they both look great
Well mate, a full body repaint cost about BND$1500 = 715 quid in my country. Most of the bodyshop here have a good workmanship which is why I will send it over to a bodyshop to get it repainted

Oxford blue or epsom green, both look black in some conditions, I have both
