Best cheap mods!!??

I tried double sided tape but ended up using superglue "dobbed" across the back of the light and held it in position for a few minutes as I don't intend to remove mine.
I have a 3 door and fitted it on the frame above the back window. I ran the wires under the roof rubber seal and down the side, then used a cable connecter between the roof and body so that when I take the roof off I can just pull the connector apart - Then fed the wires down the back of the side panel and connected up to the spades on the back of the boot light - I am sure you will sort it.

I rewired my rear lights so the stop/tail and indicators are high and fog and reverse are in the bumper. It seems to make more sense

cheap mod ..

if you get water standing in the oil-filler dish ..
.. can happen after heavy rain ..

( and if the oil filler cap aint a perfect seal
( water could enter the sump

drill some small drain holes at the 3-o-clock position on the dish
that way .. what drains won't drip onto any electrical components ..

get some 'contralube ' ( contralube.com | Vehicle Electrics )
'n smear some on the various plug/sockets in the engine bay
in particular .. the fuel-rail pressure sensor ..
