1. Pull the braid vacuum pipe off the EGR and stick a golf tee in the end of it. Result de-activated EGR.

2. Use a length of closed-cell foam to insulate the cool feed pipe from the A/C compressor to the bulkhead. Improves the efficiency of the A/C by reducing the heat the pipe picks up by being routed close to the hot return pipe.

3. Tape over the holes in the slam panel on either side of the bonnet catch and beside the headlights. Stops crud getting into the engine bay and increases the air-flow through the radiator.

4. Jam a piece of closed-cell foam behind the left hand turbo-pipe where there is a screw-head that can rub a hole in the pipe.

 ;)

Thanks mate,done 1 and 4 and I don't have AC!!:D

Already have a better one!!!:p

Yes not surprised. My very poor attempt at humour. However, I do have one of these left over from fitting in mine. Looks good above the rear window and connects to the boot light. If you want it, PM me your address and I will post it to you. Otherwise it will probably be binned!

What sort of light is it mate??

The 15 small squares are LED's - I have put 5 in mine. Two under the dash, two under the rear seats and one on the roof above the rear window(inside the car obviously) All fed from the rear boot light.
A few on here have fitted similar and I think they are available in Maplins.

My son got them for me as he works in retail shop fitting. Sorry but I cannot get any more. Maplins was a guess as they have a lot of electrical items that can be adapted for cars.
Try eBay as I have seen similar 12v strips on there. Might be worth doing a search on here as well, as this has been covered earlier this year/end 2012?
