L322 Beep beep beep. That time of day again

Ever since had car had 3 random beeps whilst driving and with pixels out it sort of looked like it said time ????

Speedo is sorted now and yup it beeps and says time.

Last 2 days it's done it at exactly 04:59 each time. I work nights so am on way home.

From searching I get it's some sort of warning maybe service (trying a reset next ) etc but why the change of display to the time. ?? Have I missed summat ?

Popped up again 17:59/

This time noticed distance on on board computer changed to 0

Drove approx 6.5 miles (non stop) as i kept eye on it as it went backwards ending up at -4. ???

Could it be the service time? Counting back miles

Have you tried to do the service reset on the stalk button, ( not sure your year is able).

Recently cleared the flashing mileage service thing and I think attempted some other SIA or summat. Will check it out after work


On start up shows a small clock and an arrow at 13625 something that is miles to oil change ? Probably be done twice by then.

Edit* just clicked that might be KM ? about 9000 miles roughly

Left work this am saw time was 04:54 so though I'd keep eye on it.

Stereo date ok and time passed to 04:59 and nothing

25/30 secs later. Beep beep beep 04:59 on the dash display. Distance still counting down backwards now -18

Not taken any as it just says. TIME 04:59 on Speedo

In board computer distance says -18. ( At moment)

No warning lights or anything anywhere. Spooky as it makes me jump even if it does happen regular it seems

Maybe it's just a wake up call so I don't nod off on way home after night bus shift

Originally flashed up the larger oil service inspection logo and the miles flashed 31650 summat.

Sort of worked out that was mileage over due service (last reset)

This one I'm figuring is km to next service ?

When I change the distance it defaults to 1 minimum and a time I guess of arrival for that distance as time Increases with the mileage respectively. Assuming the beeps are me getting to whatever distance/time that's in memory

I'm off to RTFM again.

Stereo has an adaptation to ignition only power as satnav previously been bricked so likely just live with it until I get figure out the firmware on that

Wrote off an insignia with a large deer to get this one so don't quite fancy it just yet mind you at least the bits would be cheaper. Everything I have to get or need used broken and otherwise always seems to be tagged £100 lol
