Hi got a question.
Anyone having a HSE with the harman kardon/becker unit?
On night/illuminated, are the surround buttons properly illuminated or just dimm with the main display being brighter?
Does turning lights on make any difference?
I just retrofitted a becker unit and my car did not have it. I find is strange looking with the buttons not illuminated and no dimmer, maybe I am doing something wrong on wiring side or that is how it is.

Did you fit the GPS aerial as well? I took mine out & fitted something up to date, you dont have to modify plastics or wiring so it can go straight back to std.

Hi, you have to take the centre consol out then remove the radio & surround (you can see the radio removal keys in the pic. with the Becker unit) all very straight forward. Then depending on what head unit you fit, single or double DIN & make you may or may not need a fitting kit. You'll need adaptors to fit whatever headunit you use if you want the steering wheel controls & subwoofer to work. If you give Incartec a call they can advise you of what you will need.(you don't have to have the steering wheel controls if don't want to)
